At an early age Joëlle was inspired by her parents' heroes in music, such as Chaka Khan, Eric Clapton, Stevie Wonder and Michael Jackson. She inherited her singing from her grandmother, Willy van Drunick. An opera singer in the sixties with her own single ‘Bianca Roso’ together with Bruno Martino. After Joëlle was born her family moved to Zeeland but it was inevitable that one day she would return to her roots and to her native city The Hague, which is known as the 1# rock capitol in the Netherlands.

After obtaining her Bachelor of Communication, Joëlle felt the time was right to realize her destiny in the music industry.

Once she returned to The Hague she focused on her passion. Her ambition to perform on stage as a singer grew day by day. She sang in numerous cover bands and even in a theatre show ‘Beat & Bordeelsluipers’(2012/2013). It was time to pursue her dreams with an even more invigorating zeal than before.
In summer 2013 Joëlle started her Ibiza adventure. With a mini tour in 2014 and with full seasons of work in 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019. She loves the island and played at many amazing venues like Hardrock Hotel Ibiza, Ca Na Xica, Sushipoint and Nikki Beach to name a few. She mostly plays in an acoustic duo with guitarist, but sometimes also with a saxophonist or percussionist. They serve the crowd music for the soul in an intimate setting.
In September 2015 the single ‘Waarom moet ik gaan?’ of Kinderen voor Kinderen came out. Joëlle made the music and the lyrics together with Fluitsma & Van Tijn for this amazing project. Kinderen voor Kinderen is a child choir since 1980. They release an album every year. In 2017 they made another song called 'Hollandse Pot 2.0' which is released on album number 38.

Winter 2015, 2016 and 2017 Joëlle sang in the theatre show ‘Johan Derksen en de Pioniers van de Nederpop’, a show about the history of the Dutch pop music. Joëlle sang songs of Earth & Fire and Shocking Blue. It was a really succesful show across the theatres in the Netherlands.
This winter (2019) Joëlle will record her own songs in Barcelona, so in 2020 she will release her EP!
